1) All fire suits must be manufactured companies that certify them as fire retardant SFI-3.2A/1 rating such as G-Force, Impact, and Simpson.
2) All driver’s helmets must be a full-face safety helmet that meets or exceeds SNELL 1995 or SFI-24.1 approval. Such as Bell, G-Force, Zamp, and Impact.
3) All drivers should wear approved racing shoes at all times which either meets or exceeds the SFI 3.2A/1 rating such as G-Force, Impact and Simpson, Leaf racewear.com
4) All drivers must wear approved racing gloves at all times which either meets or exceeds the SFI 3.2A/1 ratings such as G-Force, Impact, and Simpson.
5) All drivers should wear Nomex fire resistant socks such as G-force, Simpson or Impact.
6) All drivers must wear and hook up junior arm restraint that are approved by the manufacture which meet or exceeds the SFI 3.2A/1 ratings such as G-Force, RJS, and Simpson.
7) All karts should have approved safety net that meets SFI 37.1 spec. such as Simpson, G-Force, or RJS.
8) All drivers must wear at all times a 360 degree neck brace that is fire retardant and approved to meet the SFI-3.2A/1 rating or better such as G-Force, and Simpson.
9) Racing seat with head and shoulder supports is mandatory, such as Kirkey, Butler, D&M Performance. It must be secured and mounted to the frame with class 5 or better 5/16" dia. bolts.
10) All drivers must have an approved SFI 16.1 Spec. 5 point 2" webbing harness assembly for seat belts attached to the frame by class 5 or better 3/8" bolts, if used, using proper mounting hardware such as G-Force, Simpson, RJS, or Ultra Shield.
11) Approved 1 quart fuel cell with check valve cap is highly recommended on all karts such as JAZ Products
12) Fuel Cap Safely wired to braket is recommended.
13) A 2.5 pound Halon Fire Extinguisher controlled by driver release is highly recommended. Such as Fire Bottle or Sparco
14) All bolts on Kart should be Class 5 or better.
