1) It is mandatory for all karts to have a 5 point 2" webbing safety belts manufactured for racing, and secured with class 5-3/8" dia. Bolts if  used such as G-Force, Simpson, RJS, or Ultra Shield.

2) All karts must have a kill switch in drivers reach.

3) It is recommended that all karts have a quick release steering wheel.

4) It is mandatory that all steering wheels must have foam cushion in the center.

5) It is mandatory that all karts must have a kill switch mounted on the upper right outside portion of the rear of the cage.

6) It is recommended that there is a firewall between the engine and the driver.

7) It is mandatory that a zip tie be placed on the spark plug for emergency kill  switch for KART officials.

8) Fuel  cells on all karts are highly recommended.

9) All weights must be securely mounted to the frame.

10) The top roll bar must be 2" or more above the driver’s helmet.

11) Roll bar padding is recommended.

12) Any electric starter is allowed.

13) On board fire extinguisher controlled by driver release is recommended.

14) Driver to crew chief UHF radios is allowed and frequency must be registered with KART. 450-470 UHF is used for auto racing.

15) All Karts should have an approved safety net that meets SFI 37.1 spec. such as Simpson, RJS, G-Force.
